Description

NovaTerra is a relationship intelligence system for advisors that organises client data and ensures that advisors stay on top of their client relationships. Key features include:

  • Client information summary: This gives the advisor an overview of their client’s for the day (i.e. key info and recommended actions)
  • Automated messaging: Automatically sends follow up messages to clients on important dates (e.g. birthdays, meetings) or when there has been limited interaction
  • AI Assistant: Answers clients common questions, provides recommendations, collects basic information and schedules meetings on the advisor’s behalf
  • AI meeting summary: Can record meetings between clients and advisors and summarise key information. This feature can also organise messy typed notes
  • Client database: Stores client profiles and organises them by key life stages

Challenge and Approach

Chosen Track: 1 (AAG X ASG)

We selected this track because we understand the important role of financial advisors. Many Malaysian families require experts to guide them on how to safeguard their wealth and minimise the impact of risk on their life.

Advisors often have to spend a lot of personal time with clients to build relationships. As their client database grows, advisors’ time becomes more precious and they cannot afford to manually go through client lists. Our solution addresses this issue by automating all the tedious tasks, and giving advisors back their valuable time.

Our team was drawn to this track because we are interested in how AI can be applied in the financial industry. We thought the niche of productivity was particularly unique and would give us a chance to apply academic knowledge. We are also hopeful that our solution will provide a great impact to the lives of financial advisors.
