Inspiration

Creators and small-business owners lose valuable time planning content, organizing ideas, drafting captions, managing schedules, and tracking unfinished tasks. NovaED CreatorOps Agent is built to remove that busywork so creators can focus on creating, connecting with their audience, and growing their business.

What it does

NovaED CreatorOps Agent turns a creator's goal into an organized workflow. It helps creators and small-business owners:

Create content and task plans
Organize creator workloads and priorities
Prepare caption drafts and content ideas
Build posting schedules
Track unfinished tasks
Flag decisions that need the creator's approval

The agent is designed to handle routine planning and organization in the background while keeping the creator in control of important choices.

How we built it

NovaED CreatorOps is a live web prototype for the NovaED creator workflow. The project is structured around Python, AWS services, GitHub, and the Strands Agents SDK. Its workflow is organized into focused agent capabilities: content planning, task organization, draft generation, approval management, and workspace storage.

The live prototype and demo video show the CreatorOps experience: a creator gives the system a goal, receives an organized plan, and stays in charge of approvals before anything important moves forward.

Challenges we ran into

The central challenge was balancing useful automation with creator control. We designed CreatorOps so that routine organizing and drafting can be automated, while decisions involving publishing, priorities, or sensitive creator choices remain visible for human approval.

We also focused on keeping the experience clear for people who are creators or small-business owners rather than technical AI users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built and shared a live NovaED CreatorOps prototype
Created a clear agent workflow for creator planning, drafts, tasks, and approvals
Connected the project to a public Devpost submission with a working demo video
Designed the product around transparency, human oversight, and creator control

What we learned

This project strengthened our understanding of agentic workflows, the Strands Agents SDK, AWS agent architecture, and human-in-the-loop design. We learned that a helpful creator agent should make the next step easier without taking away the creator's final say.

What's next for NovaED CreatorOps Agent

Next, CreatorOps will expand inside NovaED's Creator Studio with deeper task tracking, creator analytics, smarter scheduling, and additional approval controls. The goal is to give creators one place to plan, create, organize, and grow their work.
