Hello everyone, I am Muhammad Rafay. This is my first ever hackathon participation. I have participated solo, choosing Track 3 and Track 4.

Inspiration

This hackathon is my first-ever participation in hackathon, so this is my biggest source of motivation. I watched a video by organizer Muhammad Ibrahim who encouraged beginners to join just to explore and learn. That message truly inspired me to this step. Another big push came from my friend who recently joined ICodeGuru and had already completed 3 hackathons. I thought If he can do it, why can’t I. So I decided to participate not just to explore but to give my best and hopefully win.

What it does

Nova Digital is a highly futuristic, smooth, and elegant landing page for a digital agency that provides creative tech and software solutions. It’s built as a single-page MVP, focused on visual appeal, performance, and engagement. The website showcases six key services as Web Development, App Development, UI/UX Design, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, and Cloud Sloutions.

How we built it

I built Nova Digital using the Bootstrap 5 framework, combining HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. I choose Bootstrap because it’s fast, flexible, and includes pre-built responsive components perfect for a tight hackathon deadline. As I am familiar with these three languages so it was easier for me to learn the framework quickly and implement it effectively. The development process was smooth, structured, and highly efficient. I use Gemini 2.5 Pro model to help me completing my project.

Challenges we ran into

I am a Flutter app developer so switching to full web development was definitely a challenge. If this was an app project than it would've been much easier for me but I took this as a chance to grow. This was also my first hackathon ever so I accept this challange with excitement, curiosity, and nervousness. My biggest technical challenge was designing a futuristic, engaging landing page that felt unique and completed before the deadline. Another major challange was finding someone or something to review my website thoroughly before submitting it. That is when ReimagineWeb.dev became a game changer. It analyzed my website content, suggested improvements for SEO, tone, and clarity and after applying them, my website felt truly polished, professional, and persuasive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully participated in my first-ever hackathon. Built a fully functional landing page using Bootstrap, a new framework for me. Improved my website’s content, design, and performance using ReimagineWeb.dev. Gained massive confidence, experience, and exposure in building and presenting a web project. Overall, I am proud of pushing myself beyond my comfort zone to be a part of hackathon and completing something meaningful under pressure.

What we learned

This hackathon taught me that participation matters more than perfection. You don’t need to know everything before joining any hackathon you learn by doing. I learned how to: Build responsive websites under deadlines. Adapt from Flutter to web development. Use AI tools like ReimagineWeb.dev for text and SEO improvement. Learned workflow, follow hackathon rules, and manage time effectively.

What's next for Nova Digital

Right now, Nova Digital is a single landing page MVP but I plan to expand it into a full website with dedicated pages for Services, Portfolio, and more.
