Nova Career Agent – AI Job Navigator by Amazon Nova

• The Problem

Job searching today is overwhelming.

Many candidates apply to dozens of roles without truly knowing:

How well their resume matches the job

What skills they are missing

How to prepare for interviews effectively

As someone transitioning into tech and building a career in Product Management, I personally experienced how difficult it is to understand job fit clearly. Generic job portals don’t give meaningful feedback — they just show “Applied.”

I wanted to solve that.

• The Idea

What if an AI agent could:

Compare your resume with a job description

Calculate how strong your match is

Highlight missing skills

Generate personalized interview preparation questions

That’s how Nova Career Agent was born.

Instead of just applying blindly, users can now strategically improve their resumes and prepare smarter.

• Why Amazon Nova?

I built this project using Amazon Nova models via AWS Bedrock because:

Nova provides strong semantic reasoning

It understands context deeply

It enables intelligent text comparison

It can generate high-quality suggestions

Using Nova’s embeddings and reasoning capabilities, the system performs:

Skill gap identification
