Inspiration

Our inspiration for Nourish was driven by the feeling of frustration when you're in a pandemic and want cookies but realize there is no baking soda. We wanted to create something that would just do the work for you, an automatic grocer.

What it does

You can plug in your list of ingredients which then automatically connects to your amazon prime account and picks out the ingredients for you.

How we built it

The code was done with Java on Eclipse and the prototype was created on figma.

Challenges we ran into

Not having access to the Amazon APIs was difficult so we had to improvise.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are so proud that we were able to work together and create something that we would personally use. The code was challenging but we were really able to figure it out.

What we learned

We learned how difficult creating something efficient and useful can be. Coming with the idea is not hard but making it useful is the difficult bit.

What's next for Nourish

We would love to expand on this idea and use it for other things as well besides food. We would love to just keep a running grocery list and then at the end of each month submit and get everything delivered to me.
