After evaluating multiple React Native implementation approaches through various proof-of-concepts, I selected a WebView-based architecture to ensure consistent user experience across web and mobile platforms. Initial Development Phase

Development commenced using Bolt.New until encountering WebContainer size limitations. To address this constraint, I exported the project and established a local development environment on macOS with GitHub repository integration and custom domain configuration.

Version Control Integration

Initial GitHub integration presented synchronization challenges, with Bolt.New periodically clearing commit history and leaving only .gitkeep files. I resolved this by implementing a branching strategy where Bolt.New operated on a development branch while maintaining the main branch locally, using git push --all --force when necessary to preserve commit integrity.

Platform Migration

As project complexity exceeded WebContainer runtime capacity, I transitioned to VS Code with the Anthropic Claude AI terminal extension for continued development. This workflow enabled completion of INotedIt.com while maintaining the productivity benefits of AI-assisted development.

After evaluating native interface implementations (reference prototypes: https://bolt.new/~/sb1-9aaaouvg, https://bolt.new/~/sb1-zsjkvwf8), I selected a WebView-based architecture with postMessage communication bridges. This approach ensures identical functionality and user experience across web and mobile platforms.

Development Challenges and Solutions

Platform Limitations
  • Expo Go QR Scanner: No integrated QR code scanning functionality requires manual camera-based code entry
  • File Upload Constraints: Bolt.New editor lacks file upload capabilities; resolved by utilizing Github integration or Stackblitz partially to get around some issues that only happen in Bolt.New where StackBlitz give an error Aw, Snap! page, Bolt.New just keep runing and being stuck in case of exceeding size limitations.
  • GitHub Integration Issues: Bolt.New's GitHub sync overwrites repository contents with single .gitkeep files, requiring manual repository management, after a few days it stoped behaving that way as started working as expected though with some delays once in a while.
  • EAS Authentication: Encountered TypeError: createJob(...).run is not a function during EAS login process.
Infrastructure Challenges
  • Email Forwarding: IONOS email forwarding service failed to redirect messages to configured destination
  • Build Logs: Expo.dev build logs expired before analysis could be completed
  • Environment Configuration: .env.local files not preserved during GitHub imports or repository pulls

I made a lot of cool software, even made a security company and this awesome portfolio website alexgoretoy.com which just took me roughly 10 minutes to make, I love these tools, oh and I love building tools I do quite a bit of the heavy lifting for me and automate things as much as I can so I built the suckload.com which sucks down data from any website or api and then loads it up its a web analysis tool, still a work in progress but I like the name and wanted to make something cool and funny and useful that others can benefit from, and yeah I'm broke I have $2 in my bank account so, its quite an accomplishment it I win this contest, yep!

Last night I added 14 more games, I was planning on fixing some other bugs in the app but ended up adding some more in-app games while working on a site idea called slapload.com waiting to see what Dana White thinks about it and if he even sees any value in such a thing as an Ultimate Power Slap Fantasy Community where fans can gather together and chat and some can bet on who they might think will win. Today I plan on fixing the /public page to show public notes like it used to, which broke sometime around when I added ElevenLabs and Hume AI Voice Assistants. Also I still need to fix the content to be written to from the draft_content when note is published, this used to work before but then broke, no worries I'll get it resolved. If Anything this is a first iteration, the first version, and I presume there will need to be a rewrite perhaps to make sure it is indeed production ready, with things well thought out after seeing the whole picture of what the idea is and what the app should do, going forward from that a formulating a master prompt to give to the AI so it sticks to the plan no matter what feature I'm adding. I'd also love to add an advanced user interface, I consider the current interface to be the basic user interface and would love to add a toggle option in the settings modal where the users can switch between basic and advanced interface to find something they are comfortable with, so if some people don't like the current interface they might like the advanced one more and if some love the current design and layout they probably won't even hardly go to use the advanced interface.
