What it does
Based on your personal preferences, the app checks in with the server to see who's around every so often. Whenever your phone runs dead, it sends out a distress signal to the server, and the server notifies everyone on you emergency contacts on how you can be reached now. The message and its content can be customizable to fit your need! On the other hand, a loved one can check what your last known location and friends near you when they find your unresponsive.
How we built it
Backend uses tomcat on a google cloud; front end uses swift.
