Inspiration

My brother and I love to crack jokes all the time. We wanted to spread that joy to others around us.

What it does

This system automatically sends a notification that shows you a random joke from the Pyjokes library.

How we built it

We used Python because it is known to be good for automation apps. With the help of functions and loops, this notification will send a joke every 4 hours.

Challenges we ran into

Originally we wanted to tackle the Google Cloud challenge by storing all our jokes in Firebase or Another Cloud Storage, however, we couldn't get the API to work

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're happy the notification system works! At least the jokes can continue either way.
