Inspiration

Its a College Exericise that has real world value. The use of the ToSpeech elements in the App are very cool!

How it works

Turn on the App and it answers all texts with a preset message calling out the details of any incoming message whilst the App is on. Its got a modify function that allows speech or typed text to modify the message that is being send back to incoming message senders. Amazing what the App Inventor allows you to do! Very cool!

Challenges I ran into

None of note. But it would be great for someone to break it and work with me on a fix.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Figuring it out and seeing the value creating yet simple App working as it should.

What I learned

Linking to Google Maps, modify and Tiny database functions. Also, socially benefical apps are rewarding to make even if it is a college exercise.

What's next for NoTextingWhilstDriving

Development of the ToSpeech function.
