Inspiration

We wanted to have clean notion notes via latex however there is no easy converter from images to latex via phone this solves this!

What it does

Check above, however, It is an app that links to your computer to do all of this and you can select the area!

How we built it

React native mixed with Python lots of Python. The app is a basic UI, however, it connects to the API which is connected to the client.

Challenges we ran into

AI cant decode base64 and tell you what's in it we had to figure out what third party has an AI model trained on OCR for latex to aid us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The entire mobile app. No, seriously it was the first mobile app we made...

What we learned

React Native is not like React at all...It's completely different. It takes a lot more time to create a mobile app and learning how exactly to publish that app even just as an APK.

What's next for NoTeX

Pretty up the app make an actual client that shows copied history include items such as tables and organic chem maybe even diagrams. Develop our own AI model from scratch, add solving equations integrated with notion/obsidian. Parter with schools.
