Inspiration

As students, we often struggle with organising our study schedules or coming up with an effective study plan. Many existing tools lack personalization, adaptability, or AI-driven insights. We wanted to create a smart and intuitive platform that helps students optimize their study plans while keeping them motivated.

What it does

NoteWiz is an AI-powered web application that helps students create and manage personalized study plans. It allows users to input their notes, slides or any other material to create personalised preparation resources - summaries, flashcards & quizzes

How we built it

We built a sleek and intuitive Streamlit-based web application, designed for a seamless user experience. Powered by Mistral's cutting-edge Large model, our platform leverages few-shot learning capabilities of the LLM to generate highly relevant and dynamic content. With a strong focus on smooth integration and real-time rendering, we ensure users receive insightful, AI-driven responses with ease.

Challenges we ran into

Fine-tuning AI responses: Ensuring that the model-generated summaries and flashcards were concise, accurate, and useful required several iterations of prompt engineering and testing. User experience optimization: Designing an intuitive, clutter-free interface that strikes the right balance between functionality and simplicity was a key challenge. We wanted to make sure that users could easily navigate through the platform while still accessing powerful study tools—without feeling overwhelmed by too many options.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully integrating Mistral’s Large model with Streamlit for real-time content generation. Developing an AI-powered study assistant that transforms raw notes into structured learning resources. Creating a user-friendly interface that makes studying more engaging and effective. Overcoming challenges in AI response refinement and content personalisation.

What we learned
