The inspiration for NotesAI came from the universal challenge of efficiently extracting and organizing key information from large volumes of text. Whether it's for studying, research, or professional analysis, traditional note-taking can be time-consuming and often misses crucial details. We wanted to leverage AI to automate this process, making knowledge synthesis faster, more accurate, and more accessible for everyone.

What it does

NotesAI is an AI-powered application that converts raw text into structured, categorized notes. Users can paste any text or select from pre-defined examples. The application then uses large language models to analyze the text and generate concise notes, each with a title, content, category (e.g., concept, fact, exam), and relevant tags. A core feature is the interactive highlighting: when a user clicks on a generated note, the exact source text from the original input is highlighted, providing immediate context and allowing for easy verification. Notes can also be exported to Markdown format.
