What it does
NoteMind is an AI-powered note assistant.
You give it:
- transcripts
- text files
- study content
It gives you:
- structured notes
- summaries
- quiz-style questions
The goal is simple:
spend less time organizing, more time understanding.
How we built it
We built NoteMind as a full-stack project:
- Backend in Python
- Frontend using HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- AI models for summarization and question generation
We focused on keeping it clean, fast, and student-friendly.
Challenges we ran into
Handling messy input was tough.
Tuning the AI for useful output took trial and error.
And then… semester exams entered the chat.
Both of us had exams during development, so progress slowed and a few planned features had to wait. The project isn’t as complete as we dreamed — but it’s very real.
Accomplishments we're proud of
- Built a working AI-powered tool
- Cleared the full-stack learning curve
- Integrated real AI into a real app
- Survived development during exams
- Didn’t give up
What we learned
- AI works best when you ask the right questions
- Debugging builds patience
- Simplicity beats complexity
- Planning helps, exams don’t care
What’s next for NoteMind
After exams release us from captivity:
- PDF & PPT uploads
- Note saving and exporting
- Better quiz logic
- Smarter formatting
NoteMind isn’t finished.
It’s just warming up.
