Inspiration
My team and I were very excited but we couldn’t think or come up with any ideas. We watched countless documentaries, flipped through relevant books on the subject but there’s still no ideas coming. After that, I saw a friend writing in a notebook and he showed me it and that’s when we finally had an idea to create a notebook library app, called "NoteiT” where you can create, read and publish notebooks online.
What it does
With NoteiT, you can create and read notebooks that you want to, whether it’s Revision Notes, Recipe Notes, Coding Notes, etc. Collaborate with your friends to create prettier and fancier notebooks. Publish notebooks and the world will see your wonderful notebook! Our app is aimed for students as early as the age of 7 as we want to make the future generation more passionate in reading. This is a platform where anyone is welcome to share their ideas to the world
How we built it
For this project, we used FIGMA as it is only a prototype and it was the best option to turn our idea into a reality.
Challenges we ran into
There were several challenges we faced as a short span of 3 days would not be enough to create a fully functioning web app. Our app is currently static and does not function as a normal web app should since it is a prototype.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are extremely proud that we worked together excellently and that the environment was very friendly and a collected space. We’re also proud of how we came up with this brilliant idea and how we’re able to make the prototype in only a day! We wish to make the future generation become more passionate in reading and writing.
What we learned
So far, we learned how to work together as a team, it really helps us make more progress on our project. We had discussions on our idea that gave us a chance to look at things from an entirely new perspective
What's next for NoteIt
We plan to turn this into a fully functioning web application . We also plan to add more features to NoteiT such as collaboration, notebook tags, paid plans, and and many more!
