Inspiration for Noted was that we saw some people are not great at studding notes or just don't want to spend the time. Many people get low marks or fail due to this issue.
What it does is it takes a picture with the webcam of the notes in front of it. Then is would generate a summary and questions on what was on the notes.
How we built it
We used Python frameworks (OpenCV and Tkinter) as well as the Google Gemini API
Challenges we ran into
Our picture quality was not very good, and we ran into many file path errors. Also, we were having problems with syncing our work with Git push and pull requests, so we had to work on half as many laptops as we did before. Most of us were also beginners

We got program to work with the camera and Gemini
What we learned
We have learned that python can be sometimes tricky, but also learned new skills through out this project. We also learned how to use API's for AI models to improve our programs.
What's next for Noted
The next steps are to make a live chat bot, and live screen data to summarize plus generate questions quicker and more efficiently writing that are on the display instead of on paper.
