Inspiration

As a student often overwhelmed by long chapters in subjects like C++ and DBMS, I wanted to build a tool that acts as a personal tutor. My goal was to create something that takes dense information and makes it simple and interactive. This is how NoteCrush was born.

What it does

NoteCrush is an AI-powered study assistant that helps students master topics faster.Summarize: It instantly turns complex notes into simple, readable bullet points.AI Quiz: It generates custom multiple-choice questions based on the user's specific notes to test their understanding in real-time.

How I built it

I used the MeDo No-Code platform to bring this idea to life. Although I only know the basics of Python and C++, MeDo allowed me to focus on Prompt Engineering and UI/UX Design. I spent my time refining the AI logic to ensure the summaries and quizzes were accurate and helpful for students.

Challenges I faced

As this is my first hackathon, my biggest challenge was learning how to communicate with AI effectively. I had to experiment with different prompts to make sure the "Summarize" and "Quiz" buttons worked perfectly every time. I also had to learn how to structure a mobile app layout for the first time.

What I learned

I learned that you don't need to be an expert coder to build a functional tool. I gained a deep understanding of how Generative AI can be used in education and how to turn a simple idea into a "Live" published application.

What's next for NoteCrush

I plan to add a Flashcard Mode and a Study Timer to make NoteCrush the ultimate companion for students worldwide.
