Inspiration

I wanted a solution for going through online textbooks from school instead of wasting time reading everything.

What it does

It takes a PDF and spits out AI-generated notes for the user based on its text.

How we built it

I used streamlit, python, Gemini API, and PdfReader

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the Gemini API and using it to deliver the ai response from markdown format.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of the final product and what it can do.

What we learned

I learned how to implement gemini into projects and how to use GitHub along the way.

What's next for NoteBuddy

Add more features that can help with time management for students who want information fast, such as support for more file types and possibly saving the text on user accounts.
