My projects is a full stack website where students can upload notes in the specified format like doc,.txt. It also has an admin panel where he/she can do modifications in the database.

Inspiration

In our university everyone runs for notes at the last minute before exams and they get less time to focus and study. So I used to think why do we not have a proper platform where we can access the notes and search as per the semester, subject.

What it does

It contains all the notes uploaded as per the conditions provided. So all the students can search as per the notes they require and download. It also has a link to whiteboard online where user can practise and upload the downloaded notes.

How we built it

First I have built the user interface and next focused on backend and database.

Challenges we ran into

I struggled while connecting the database. I am adding the data but its not getting updated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am finally very happy and proud for the completed product.

What we learned

Previously I did not have much knowledge regarding php but today while implementing I learnt and struggled as well :)

What's next for NoteBook

I want to work further like having a plagiarism checker where same notes cannot be applied and using the regular expression we can make like @csu in the email id. So only mail ids with @csu will be able to login. That would make specific to university. As I am from UPES I have created the name as UPES NOTEBOOK. So all the notes would be uploaded college specific. But need to work on email id part.
