Inspiration

NoteBird was inspired by the need to make learning more engaging and accessible for everyone. We noticed that traditional study methods often feel monotonous and wanted to create something that combines the effectiveness of proven learning techniques with the joy of discovery and play.

What it does

NoteBird is an AI-powered learning companion that transforms studying into an interactive experience. It features smart summarization, automated quiz generation, vocabulary games, flashcards, and accessibility features like text-to-speech. Everything is organized in "Learning Nests" that help students keep their study materials organized and engaging.

How we built it

We built NoteBird using a modern tech stack: React with TypeScript for the frontend Tailwind CSS for styling Framer Motion for smooth animations Supabase for backend and authentication OpenAI's GPT for AI-powered features Edge Functions for serverless processing
