Inspiration

What was the inspiration of Note Ready? The inspiration that we had to create Note Ready was: The struggle of SPED and ESL students or overall students having trouble to focus on class or not being able to understand the speaker, which can be for multiple reasons that this can be happening. As well, saving your time is very important these days, if we could get to save 30 minutes or sometimes hours of a speech with an AI that will be a step forward for education.

What it does

What does Note Ready do? What Note Ready does is analyzing the recording and give you key points, summary, simplification, show you multiple images to much more understanding, an option to go more into-depth on the topic if user still not comprehending it and quiz you on the topic, and this will help students improve their grades and help them understand what the speaker is saying with a much simplify version.

How we built it

How did we build Note Ready? We first started off by brainstorming ideas, and Valeria Socorro came up with the great idea of an app that will take notes for you. Later, Sofia Socorro thought about options on the audio as main points, images, and giving the user extra info about the topic. Sofia Socorro came up with the name and design of the logo. Joshua Garnica and Valeria Socorro started to work on the google slides, and Joshua Garnica came up with the idea on how much it can help ESL and SPED students, then proceeded to add that to the google slides. After Sofia Socorro finished designing the logo, she helped do the google slides.
