Inspiration

We were inspired to create Note.me because many students struggle with taking practical notes and keeping track of them. We wanted to create an app that would make note-taking more straightforward and accessible for everyone.

What it does

Note.me is a note-taking app designed specifically for students. It allows users to take notes, organize them by class, and easily share them with classmates. The app also includes features such as reminders and to-do lists to help students stay on track.

How we built it

We built Note.me using a full-stack framework like React, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Express. We also utilized various design tools to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface, such as Figma and Chakra UI.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was implementing the back end to the front end. We also have two teammates living in different time zones, so we have to work on a specific feature during that time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of completing most of the frontend side of Note.me. We're also proud of the functionality tools that we were able to achieve.

What we learned

Throughout the development of Note.me, we learned a lot about working as a team and collaborating effectively. We also gained valuable experience in app development and design.

What's next for Note.me

We plan to implement all of the backends to the front-end if we have time and continue developing the app and adding some new features. We also hope to expand our user base and help even more students succeed in their academic pursuits.
