Inspiration

We noticed that students struggle to get good quality notes before exams, while many students create great notes but have no platform to share or sell them. This inspired us to build a simple solution.

What it does

NoteFolio allows students to upload, sell, and buy notes easily. It connects note creators with students who need reliable study material.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB. We developed and tested everything using VS Code and deployed it on a cloud platform.

Challenges we ran into

Managing file uploads, designing a simple UI, creating a smooth buy/sell flow, and completing everything in limited time were our main challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working notes marketplace, solved a real student problem, designed a clean interface, and worked well as a team.

What we learned

We learned teamwork, time management, backend–frontend integration, and how to turn an idea into a full working solution.

What's next for NoteFolio

We plan to add ratings, reviews, better security, improved payment options, and a mobile-friendly version to make the platform more useful.
