Notable is for you! Our tool helps students like yourself study harder and earn better marks. With thousands of note packages in our database, you can find notes for anything you need to succeed, all shared by real students! Filter by subject, unit, grade level, and format to fidn the perfect set of notes for you.
How we built it
Working together through VS Code LiveShare, we built this project in sections: half of us worked on front end, designing the UI and formatting the app, while the other half worked on back end, making sure all the elements and filters worked.
Challenges we ran into
We were unfamiliar with all the functions in Bootstrap at first, so we were having trouble formatting all the items to make them responsive to different screen dimensions. In the end, we learnt a lot about how to do this through various online materials and we were able to solve the issue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Although we spent quite a lot of time deciding on the project we wanted to make for this Hackathon, once we got started we were able to work efficiently.
What's next for Notable
We would like to expand our database to cover more subjects and grade levels. Additionally, adding a function to filter by sub-unit within each subject would be useful for our users.
