Inspiration

When I first visited Georgetown, I was shocked at the state of its mailroom: hundreds to thousands of packages, for an undergraduate population of 5300 students, scattered across a room, and students scrambling to find their packages. I wanted to work on an app to help students get their packages on time.

What it does

The administrator (the one who manages the packages) can easily notify students as soon as they receive a package. This will help declutter the mailroom, as most students don't get their mail and packages on time!

What's next for MailRoom

Adding text detection and images. Students also have accounts to keep track of their packages.
