Rather than making factual claims, the project approaches the topic through satire and humor, highlighting how mystery, speculation, and pop culture collide in the age of AI and media overload.

What It Does

Not Here. Promise! is an original AI-generated sci-fi music video. The lyrics, melody, vocals, and visuals were created using AI tools working together as a creative storytelling system.

The video uses exaggerated visuals, cosmic imagery, and playful irony to explore how narratives around secrecy and disclosure are communicated, denied, and reshaped in popular culture.

How We Built It

  • Lyrics and satirical narrative were developed using large language models
  • Music and vocals were generated with AI music tools
  • Visuals were created using AI image and video generation with sci-fi themes
  • Final pacing, comedic timing, and cohesion were refined through post-production editing

Challenges

Balancing humor with clarity was a key challenge. The project needed to remain playful and exaggerated while clearly signaling that it is satire rather than advocacy or misinformation.

Another challenge was aligning tone across visuals, vocals, and lyrics so the joke remained consistent throughout the piece.

What We Learned

AI is particularly effective for satirical storytelling, where exaggeration and symbolism can be pushed visually and musically. Clear framing is essential when using AI to explore culturally sensitive or speculative topics.
