Not a Banking Holiday in the U.K.

Inspiration

I saw that there was a bank holidays API and I wanted to figure out something to do with it.

What it does

It tells users if a date is not a banking holiday. It does not tell users if a date is a banking holiday. This is by design to make it more useless.

How we built it

Nice and easy, Python Pandas to make easy dates, and Requests library to pull from the API.

Challenges we ran into

None :)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to complete it quickly (I should add tests...)

What we learned

I learned a little more about Python Poetry and virtual environments.
