Northwestern DAO

Inspiration

We already intended to build a DAO for Northwestern, and we were in a perfect position to ask people around us at the hackathon for guidance.

What it does

It collects contributions and allows people to create proposals.

How we built it

We followed tutorials on using polygon to create the smart contracts for moving the funds while building an interface around those contracts.

Challenges we ran into

We had a javascript error that would sometimes send the currency on behalf of an incorrect wallet if another account was previously signed in.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I believe we gained the most by meeting everyone at the hackathon and the connections we gained from it.

What we learned

RUST is difficult.

What's next for Northwestern DAO

To rebuild the whole but actually using a prebuilt platform.
