Inspiration
Our Inspiration comes from listening to our Keynote Speaker, Olga Bogomolova, for our Sunflower Hack. When she spoke about finding your 'North Star', it inspired us to reevaluate the way we interpret and approach our goals.
What it does
Our application gives users the ability to visualize their goals and action steps by creating roadmaps. It lets them select a theme that then leads to their action steps for reaching their goals. This makes their goals more accessible because they can visualize and quantify each specific action step and how it affect their overall goal achievements.
How I built it
We built this prototype using the collaborative interface design tool, Figma. We designed it to be as simplistic and understandable as possible.
Challenges I ran into
We hadn't had any experience with Figma before so there was a learning curve while using the program. We also ended up needing to change a few of the frames to more closely match our simplistic design because it was too complex.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We accomplished designing a functional app prototype that displays the overall vision of the app.
What I learned
We learned how to work with each other to design something that caters to a specific group of people.
What's next for NorthStar: Roadmaps for a Better Life
We want to streamline the system and actually code the app, maybe add more functionality to the app.
