Inspiration

This app concept was inspired by other interactive common interest community apps like Strava (running) where you can find an event and earn badges from it.

What it does

NCPPN will allow individuals in North Carolina to connect with environmental authority figures, report pollution, identify pollution, earn badges for aiding local ecosystems + native wildlife, and learn about pollution in their community.

We didn’t run into any challenges during the development of this app concept.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to pull together the demo video even with time constraints.

What we learned

Throughout the development of this app concept, we learned about the importance of community connection in resolving pollution-related issues and environmental rehabilitation.

What's next for North Carolina Pollution Prevention Network (NCPPN)

The next step for NCPPN is to create a fully functional app based on the concept design with an improved interface and more features like a community calendar.
