Inspiration

Inspired by a movie recommendation website one of our group members had made, we thought a filter based charity finder website would be useful.

What it does

Allows you to use our set of filters to search for a nonprofit you may want to contribute to.

How we built it

We built this website using HTML, CSS, and javascript and hosted it on GitHub pages

Challenges we ran into

Our most significant challenge was getting API output into the format we wanted to have our filters operate effectively. We were forced to shift direction somewhat due to these limitations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that as a small team of 3 with only one member with web development experience, we were able to complete a project like this within the timeframe.

What we learned

We learned a lot more about CSS, HTML, and using APIs in the backend.

What's next for Non-Profit Search

With more time we would like to build out the functionality of our site to include more advanced and specific methods of filtering.
