Inspiration

We struggled to stay off our phones during lecture time.

What it does

A digital wellness/focus app for Android. It tracks a virtual pet-like character whose "health" degrades when you use distracting apps during focus sessions. Think Tamagotchi meets screen-time tracker.

How we built it

We used React Native along with Tailwind CSS to design the front end. Expo was used to test the app during development, and finally, we connected it to Supabase for its Postgres database and its authentication.

Challenges we ran into

We were unable to use Apple's Screentime API because it required permission from Apple. To solve this, we switched to Android, which has a much more lenient policy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to make a full-stack application that has multiple functions.
