Inspiration

We were heavily inspired by a Brackey's tutorial. This was our first time programming anything, so we needed to take great inspiration from the video in order to create something that works. The final product is original.

What it does

You control a game character that moves around and avoids getting slimed out by aliens. The aliens squeeze their jaws tight and unalive the player once touched.

How we built it

We used Godot.

Challenges we ran into

Practically every function failed, mainly the movement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to smoothly integrate audio into the game. Everything was our first time with any kind of coding, so we were proud of really everything.

What we learned

We need to stick with Mechanical Engineering.

What's next for Nomadic Panthera

Strive to spread STEM opportunities within our local community in Dr. Phillips.
