Inspiration
People often throw away and waste leftover ingredients from when they cook. We are looking to reduce this food waste by helping people find recipes that they can use these leftovers in.
What it does
Our IOS app implements a recipe API to find and display links to recipes in a user-friendly interface.
How we built it
We used Xcode to develop this app using Swift.
Challenges we ran into
We have several issues with the navigation between pages not working properly and our search bar only returns recipes that contain the name of a given ingredient.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We finished our first app prototype and created a usable interface.
What we learned
How to further use APIs and implement libraries to use in developing an IOS app.
What's next for NOKORIMONO
Further developing the prototype and fixing the issues we encountered.
