💡 Inspiration & My Story It all started with a simple observation: fake news spreads faster than the truth, and typical fact-checking websites are boring. People don’t share long paragraphs of evidence; they share memes and visual cards. I wanted to build Nokka—a global social layer that takes viral claims, verifies them, and turns the truth into interactive, highly shareable "Truth Cards."

As a developer and technical founder, I wanted to prove that modern web architecture and serverless cloud databases can completely reinvent how we handle real-time data verification at scale. Nokka is my dream, and I refused to compromise on its technical depth or user experience.

🛠️ How We Built It (The Tech Stack) In less than a month, I went from a rough concept to a fully functioning global application. The architecture relies on three game-changing technologies:

• Next.js & v0.app: Used v0 to rapidly prototype and visualize a premium, modern Neo-Brutalist interface, which was then fully implemented using Next.js 15 App Router.
• Vercel: Hosts the frontend and handles runtime environments flawlessly, allowing safe execution, dynamic route handling, and instant production deployments.
• AWS (Amazon Web Services): To support a global platform, I needed a database that could scale seamlessly. Integrating AWS Aurora DSQL allowed me to establish a resilient, high-performance, serverless database setup to handle massive dynamic content history and transactional logs.

🚧 Challenges Faced Building a production-ready application comes with heavy architectural challenges. When allowing users to submit external URLs and viral claims, you face massive security and processing risks. I had to build a robust API security perimeter, implement Zod validation guards, normalizers for canonical link deduplication, and design an asynchronous post-response verification pipeline (via Next.js after()) to offload slow LLM and evidence-retrieval processing.
