Inspiration
The inspiration came from the noise that is sometimes experience in the real world.
What it does
It detects when the surrounding sound reaches above a certain level, and will give a warning on the OLED display, buzzer, and LED. Once the warning is over, it will then revert back to it's original state.
How we built it
We built the project with the Arduino kit and then we used the buzzer, LED light, and the OLED display.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into was clearing the OLED screen so that we could display a new message without the previous message still being printed out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to use the hardware, understand it, and make the connections within the code.
What we learned
We learned how to use the Arduino language and successfully connect it to multiple different hardware components.
What's next for Noise Pollution Detection
The next step would be more applied applications.
