Inspiration
Frustrated by endless waits on calls to local businesses for simple information, like gluten-free options at restaurants, I built Noble. It knows about your favourite neighbourhood spots.
What it does
There's a list of local businesses you can talk to. Click "Start Call" with any of them to start a conversation.
How we built it
Using the OpenAI APIs for responses combined with some other APIs to understand and reply.
Challenges we ran into
Deploying the backend took me like 30 mins 😔. And now I'm running out of time to write a detailed description.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
All of today! Meeting cool and interesting people is always the fun aspect of these hackathons.
What we learned
AI is ~expensive~. Can't wait to see how much it cost me to run this thing during the demos.
What's next for Noble
Way, way more businesses. And ability for AI to perform actions (actually making that table reservation for you). Approaching local businesses and selling them their own AI that runs on a phone number.
