NOAA Informant is the start of a unified system to help processes incident reports through NOAA's databases.
We've defined three areas of use that are extremely important for the user base. Each of these areas are under the category of making the incident reporting mobile.

- Iphone
Mobile and desktop website.
One of the advantages of the mobile apps is offline reporting. Let's say a user is out on their fishing vessel and have to report something, simple create the report and submit it and as soon as the device has internet access again it will be submitted.
