Inspiration
Videos on people getting lost while cave diving and my love for mazes is what inspired me to make this game
What it does
No way out makes you navigate a twisting underground maze with minimal light and no map.
How we built it
Using a custom 3d model import i was able to make most of No way out.
Challenges we ran into
Scripting and making a way to navigate was the biggest challenge in creating this game
Accomplishments that we're proud of
watching players react, get turned around, and experience dread is what gives me a sense of pride.
What we learned
I learned that true horror doesn't come from monsters or gore - it comes from isolation and losing your sense of control.
What's next for NO WAY OUT
Next im exploring ideas that push fear, tension and exploration even further.
