For every smartphone, there are at least 5 smart devices (AirPods, smart watches, Echo Displays, Fire/Google/Apple TV) rarely used by sellers to enhance customer experience.

Inspiration

There are 500M smart devices and growing, like AirPods everyone using or Amazon Echo displays and Fire TVs, Apple TV, Chrome TV that are invading our living rooms and automobiles. These smart devices are barely used by brands and sellers to provide 10X customer exprience.

What it does

To book an appointment at your favorite salon. For example:

  1. Alexa ask Vanity Hair to book an appointment for tomorrow
  2. Update if you running late from your car: Alexa update appointment
  3. Show catalog Stylist can upload their products, and tag them so that consumers can browse them Example: Show me fall fashions Which can be displayed their living rooms, by starting conversation with Alexa, Google, and Siri.

Challenges we ran into

Bookings API, even though all the slots were taken for a given time, it shows as available slot through the API, posted to Square slack channel

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Its decentralized, that is every salon gets their own invocation. There is no middleman. For example Alexa ask Tres Salon Alexa Ask Great Clips Foxworthy

We are not a market place, everyone gets their invocation and branding

We are committed to decentralized world, every seller gets their own branding, no third party marketplace commissions. Its natural to communicate through earbuds or directly from your car. Bridging from online to on-premise seamless experience.
