🧠 Inspiration
I wanted to create a portfolio that truly represents me — clean, fast, and interactive. Most portfolios simply list skills and projects, but I wanted mine to reflect my growth, creativity, and energy as a developer. So I built it with Next.js to combine solid performance with smooth, fluid design.
⚙️ What It Does
This portfolio acts as my digital identity. It showcases:
- My projects with live demos and GitHub links
- My skills and development tools clearly organized
- A clean contact section for easy communication
- A modern hero section with soft gradients and smooth animations
- A fully responsive layout that scales beautifully across devices
🛠️ How I Built It
I built the site using Next.js for fast routing and SEO, styled it with Tailwind CSS, and added motion design using Framer Motion. The site is deployed on Vercel, ensuring quick load times and smooth navigation.
Tech Stack:
Next.js • Tailwind CSS • Framer Motion • React Icons • Vercel
🚧 Challenges I Faced
Balancing performance with animation quality was the toughest challenge. I iterated multiple times to achieve smooth transitions without sacrificing speed. Designing responsive layouts and experimenting with gradient combinations also took fine-tuning to achieve the right aesthetic.
💡 What I Learned
This project taught me how to structure a Next.js app effectively, optimize UI components, and make design trade-offs between simplicity and creativity. I also realized how small interface details — like transitions, hover effects, and colors — can drastically enhance the user experience.
🚀 What’s Next
Planned improvements include:
- A blog section powered by MDX
- 3D interactive visuals using Three.js
- A light/dark theme switcher that remembers user preferences
🏁 Summary
A personal portfolio that’s more than a website — it’s my digital story as a developer, built with precision, motion, and creativity using Next.js.
