Endless possibilities with Niyati Trail

Inspiration

With the advancement of technology, the world is becoming a smaller place; the entire world is now accessible at the tip of one's fingers. So why not take advantage of this opportunity to bring people together and provide them with work? Women can be empowered when women from rural areas are given opportunities to work in businesses.

What it does

Niyati Trail provides a platform for women to showcase their skills such as pottery, tailoring, weaving, and cooking skills, among others, in order to increase their chances of being hired by recruiters. It expands the opportunities for shop owners and entrepreneurs to hire skilled workers. As a result, both parties benefit: those seeking employment and those seeking to hire workers.

How we built it

We built the frontend using HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT Our backend js powered with Nodejs, We have used Firebase as our cloud provider, We managed to optimise the server by running an instance on each CPU core so that it can handle maximum load , Have used Heroku as our hosting provider.

Challenges we ran into

The entire world has gone digital for almost two years now, and the most difficult challenge we faced was not having any in-person meetings with our team members, making it difficult for us to understand each other's ideas and visions. We had some ideas that we wanted to implement, but we were having trouble with the code, which is where teamwork came into play because everyone was playing to their strengths.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have completed the project within the time frame allotted while overcoming all obstacles. We're proud that we were able to work well together and come up with what we did. We are proud that despite living in remote areas, we successfully coordinated and designed the website.

What we learned

By dividing each task among the overselves, we learned teamwork. We learned how to manage our time. We learned how to work remotely with people with a variety of skill sets. We learned that there will be many obstacles in our path, but with the right mindset and determination to do your best and achieve your goal, any obstacle can be overcome.

What's next for Niyati Trail

In the future, we hope to raise awareness about domestic violence among women by hosting a forum and encouraging them to speak out against it. Furthermore, we intend to raise sanitary hygiene awareness and provide healthcare services as needed.
