Inspiration

In this situation of widespread sickness and virus transmission. being referred to be the country that upholds Swachh Bharat. On the roads, there is still a tonne of trash there. which is really bad. And is a major factor in the development of diseases like corona, dengue, and even malaria. This is a result of both people becoming more lazy and there not being a specific or regular method of waste pickup. People are starting to toss their trash around as a result of this. Due to a lack of government oversight, the third-party vendors engaged by the government to collect trash from every residence behave very carelessly and irregularly in this respect.

What it does

The construction of a simple user interface or website that connects users with independent garbage collectors regulated by the government is our proposed answer to this problem. In this we offer a general trigger that the customer can utilise to notify the garbage collection that their home's trash can is full. Additionally, by using this interface, the neighbourhood dustbin overflow or clogged canal issue can also be reported to them. For the third party vendor or the garbage collector it shows a To-Do list which tells them which task to execute first. For the Government executives who are supervising the process ..they will get the to do list of every locality.

How we built it

This is possible, for example, if a user:

  1. There are two possible responses from a user when their domestic trash can is full: Go dispose of the trash in the closest community dustbin. Use Nisarga and arrange for their trash pickup.
  2. You may achieve this in 5 easy steps: a) To schedule a house dustbin pickup, open the Web app and click on the DustBin icon. b) Select Yes/No to confirm once more that your household trash can is full. c) Provide your home's address. d) Provide your phone number. e) Submit

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It highlights the importance of adopting sustainable waste management practices to mitigate environmental harm and promote a circular economy. By incorporating the 3R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle), embracing innovative technologies, and fostering community engagement, we can work towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Let's join hands and take proactive steps in managing waste responsibly to safeguard our planet for current and future generations. Together, we can make a positive difference in the world. Thank you for your attention.
