Inspiration

I am currently a senior student pursuing Bachelors in Computer science at Lehman College, I dropped college in December 2015 because of the money issues, thus I started to work as a super( meaning of supervisor of construction and cleaning on a building in new york). I then self-learn construction and also self-learn to prioritize work labor and cost budget to solve problems for my employer benefits. Thus, I then began to recognize the stress there is between corporation management, city tenants and supervisors. It is then when I got inspired to use my own personal skills to build a unique solution to these problems that exist in today's NYC building corporations.

What it does

NioBs is a content management system that uses artificial intelligence to solve a complex problem on city tenants and NYC corporations. This amazing application will be used to maintain a workflow regulation between building work task, companies invoices, super management and tenant complaints.

How I built it

I am building this application on android SDK, Amazon Aurora database, Google Apis(Calendar and Task API), Stripe API, and Exoplayer API.

Challenges I ran into

I am currently working on this application on a bottom-up approach. Currently, challenges I have run into is that of Aurora Databases to be able to create relational database schemas and be able to send and get data info from my database tables. At last but not least, I have also run into a complex problem with the android and google calendar API.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The accomplishment that I am proud of is that I am not afraid to fail but to try my best on creating something that matters and that is aiming to solve the complex problem for NYC building companies and tenants.

What I learned

I have learned that is important to launch your self to learn new technologies and believe in your ideas.

What's next for NioBs

I am planning this application for the company that I work, to alleviate their stress but it will scale into more companies as a solution to more problems.
