We travelled to Toronto for the annual Toronto Game Jam (ToJam) with a fun project in mind. We wanted to have a retro style multiplayer arcade game, and we teamed up with an industry artist to bring it to life.
What it does
A fun game to play with up to 4 friends, where you need to hold onto a flag and run away from the other players trying to steal it from you.
How we built it
We used Godot engine and the associated GDscript to build Ninjam.
Challenges we ran into
We had some trouble with collision detections, but overall we finished with the end product that we were hoping for.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was our first time working with an artist who had knowledge about an artistic direction to push our game in. It was a lot of fun working with him.
