Its an open world adventure with procedurally generated quests, and it's played in the web browser

HTML5 + Leaflet.js with custom java script code

Too ambitious and too much content, solved by switching to an object oriented, procedurally assisted design

The AdventureGen Engine that creates procedural quests and the world design itself

What I learned

Simplify your scope Simplify the source nodes for algorithms - complexity can arise out of simple elements but don't make the initial elements too complex themselves

What's next for Nimian Legends Empires

Updates facilitated by the object oriented structure - which allows updates that dont ruin the rest of the game
