Inspiration

When we began the work on this project, our main inspiration was the online learning way, which was our most effective way during our journey in the year and this semester. As we were using other online platforms, but the problem was that these platforms aren't an educational platforms. The platform main aim is to be a path for teachers to communicate with the students online using virtual classes and virtual meetings, also the platform aims to make a track for students to do tests and have courses whenever there is time.

What it does

How we built it

In this long journey, the Engineering Design Process (EDP) was followed to improve the educational system in Egypt. Social and educational problems were researched, leading to the idea of an educational platform. The platform was created using WordPress tools for page design and adding buttons and lists. Videos were added to test the platform's performance and ensure ease of use. The result is a well-designed website that offers learning opportunities for students and the illiterate.

Challenges we ran into

One of the hardest challenges we faced, was the researching for the main idea, at first we were thinking about many fields at the same time, and of course, this resulted in delaying the process, but once we discussed the project more deeply, we managed to make the dream come true!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The biggest accomplishment that we are proud of us that we managed to finish this platform in just a week! Also we are very proud that we might have opened a new door for education for Egyptian students, and maybe also world wide ones!

What we learned

On searching for this project we concluded many important points like the importance and impact of using modernization in solving common-fielded problems, the unemployment in teachers is directly proportional to the illiterate percentage in the community and weak education process, also embracing the idea of having an educational website that belongs to the government to get of the private lessons.

What's next for Nile edu ( educational platform)

Well, we think that the next step for this platform is that it will be published world wide, in order to reach for as many students and teachers as possible, which will be our main goal for this project.
