Inspiration
It was one in the morning, I was playing around with facial recognition using opencv and thought about sending a message with sms. Later that night, I mean morning, I thought of the great idea about a way to record people trying to hack into a profile of yours.
What it does
Records video with facial recognition of an individual trying to get past your passwords.
How I built it
The program consists of multiple hours of download to enable the use of opencv. Then countless hours of playing around with python sms email text sharing. I used an open-source haarfile for facial recognition. Then added the capability to email videos using python. Finally I created a condition statement to ask the user for a password and if the password fails, it runs the program i've implemented.
Challenges I ran into
Implementing video transfer between emails using python and learning opencv in a few hours.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
EVERYTHING!
What I learned
opencv downloading through github on mac! rough I learned a lot!!
What's next for Night-Owl
Implementing the program to a website.
