Inspiration

I was left alone and was just going to hang out, but then someone pointed out the solo challenge and it seemed interesting so I decided to put in the work for it.

What it does

Creates a user from the input in the given fields and sends the data to the Firestore database
Logs the user's location, if allowed, and updates the user's information in the database with latitude and longitude

How I built it

I built the foundation using react and sending data back and forth from the Firestore. After that, I deployed it to my Firebase application to have it hosted on the web.

Challenges I ran into

After finishing a react CRUD tutorial, it took me a while to figure out what to add or change in order to meet the needs given by the challenge. I ran into so many errors while doing the deployment that I ran out of time to implement the facial authentication which I had left for last.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm very surprised I managed to get this all done on my own. I knew very little of pretty much every aspect of this endeavor. I only had a little experience with javascript and bootstrap.
