Nib.eth

A link shortening service for decentralized domain names

What it does

It will allow for users to quickly create a subdomain of nib.eth e.g. mypage.nib.eth

How we built it

For this hackathon, I used Node.js and React, as well as Ethers.js

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to debug any issues with smart contract transactions, but through trial and error I was able to get it to work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to get registering of domains using both a node.js script and a React dapp.

What we learned

I learned how to connect to a smart contract and call functions, using both node and react.

What's next for nib.eth

ENS is coming out with new features which will make subdomains NFTs, and I will work on using their new features to integrate into my dapp.
