Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project came from several sources. Firstly, we were deeply inspired by the talent and creativity of local artists in Goma. Their ability to express emotions, ideas and perspectives through their art is truly remarkable, and we felt the desire to support and promote their work.

Secondly, we were inspired by the transformative potential of technology. Seeing how online platforms have revolutionized various sectors, we realized that a digital platform dedicated to Goma artists could have a significant impact on their ability to promote and sell their work to a global audience.

Moreover, we were inspired by the desire to contribute to Goma's economic and cultural development. By providing a platform that showcases the city's artistic wealth, we hope to draw attention to its thriving art scene and encourage greater support for local artists.

Finally, our inspiration also stems from our belief in the power of art to create connections, spark conversations and inspire change. In building this platform, we aspire to create a space where artists and art lovers can come together, exchange ideas and celebrate the cultural diversity of Goma and beyond.

What it does

The project aims to create a mobile platform tailored for artists in Goma, facilitating the promotion and sale of their artwork to a global audience. It provides a digital showcase where artists can exhibit their creations, connect with potential buyers, and manage their portfolios conveniently from their smartphones or tablets. Additionally, the platform offers features such as virtual galleries, personalized artist portfolios, social interaction functionalities, and multilingual support to enhance user experience and engagement. Through this platform, artists can expand their reach, gain visibility, and access opportunities for professional growth, while art enthusiasts can discover, appreciate, and purchase unique artworks from Goma and beyond.

How we built it

To carry out this project, we created a mobile platform and used virtual reality to create 3D objects.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenges encountered during this project include technological complexity, user experience design, content creation, resource constraints, user adoption and engagement, and technical compatibility.
